Patricia has a B. A. on International Relations by Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM). Since 2004 she has devoted her life to working for the environment, collaborating with several organizations and ecological movements.\u00a0 Currently she is a member of Organi-K, A.C.<\/em>, where she collaborates on a project to manage Mexico City\u2019s organic waste and she coordinates local projects in Oaxaca\u2019s Mixteca Mountains and in the Sacred Site of Wirikuta. She is co-founder of the Manos a la tierra<\/em> (Hands to the Earth<\/em>) initiative and of the company Estrategias y Eco-Tecnolog\u00edas Sustentables S.A.P.I. de C.V.<\/em><\/p>\n

She was Program Manager for Mexico’s and Latinamerica\u2019s The Climate Reality Project<\/em> (TCRP Mx & LATAM) where she coordinated during four years the climate leaders network trained by Nobel Peace Prize awardee Al Gore.\u00a0 During five years she was a Mexico Chapter liaison for the United Nations\u2019 Global Youth Action Network<\/em> (a TakingITGlobal initiative).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
